We are sad to announce the closure of The Barn B+B.
We will take no bookings past mid-May 2008.

The last 9 years have been great and we would like to thank all our existing customers and everyone
who loves this area, and wish you all the best.

Set deep in the beautiful Black Mountains, and embraced by abundant nature, The Barn is the ideal retreat for walking, resting, reflection and rejuvenation. We are situated close to the Offa's Dyke Path, on the Cambrian Way and just off National Cycling Route 42.

There is a double, ensuite and family room. The accommodation is heated largely by wood burning stoves and each room has stunning views of the mountains and access on to the hill.
The Barn is surrounded by beautiful woodland, historic sites and many local ancient churches and chapels. The Llanthony Abbey is 3½miles away and the world famous book town of Hay-on-Wye 8 miles away.

Horseriding (www.llanthony.co.uk) for all abilities in the splendid surrounding mountains is available nearby, and can be arranged in advance.

A delicious vegetarian breakfast (often described as 'the best in the world' !!), including our speciality pancakes, is served in the conservatory with spectacular views.
